Neuropsychological tests consist of a series of questions, remembering information, making perceptual and memory judgments on a variety of stimuli, recalling sequences, responding to different patterns and learning simple tasks. Neuropsychological assessment is used to:
- The assesment of memory disorders in Alzheimer patients and other dementias
- The evaluation of neuropsychological deficits (eg, memory, attention, language, calculation, perception, reasoning,etc.) related to brain damage;
- Early, accurate and objective detection of neuropsychological abonormalities associated with normal and pathological aging.
-Assessing cognitive and affective symptoms in neuropsychiatric syndromes
- Obtaining an expert report if needed by other professionals, to justify the person´s mental health.
Neuropsychological testing is conducted in Spanish, Catalan or English language, at the request of the applicant
